I am endlessly fascinated by the beauty, strength, and tenderness in all people, especially my clients. I know first hand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, and difficult relationships, and how supportive a good therapist can be. Developing a trusting, playful, honest, and impactful relationship with my clients is one of my top priorities. I believe a strong therapeutic partnership is essential in clients’ uncovering their unexpressed potential and healing from ongoing emotional pain.
I specialize in treating anxiety, chronic insecurity, relationship difficulties (e.g. lack of boundaries, codependency, low self-esteem), and trauma. Other issues include ADHD, singleness, stress management, conflict resolution, emotional overwhelm, and depression. My background includes working with sexual assault survivors and clients seeking treatment for emotional overwhelm and eating disorders. Drawing on attachment theory, internal family systems (IFS), radically-open dialectical behavioral therapy (RO-DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and mindfulness therapy, I address each client as an individual and draw from my expertise to match my client’s needs and priorities.
